MAROUSI | Chrisoheri 4

The seven-level residential building in the area of Maroussi has been designed as a set of autonomous and mainly unique town houses in contrast to the common treatment of the apartment building in the Greek city and the cloning of stacked houses that it presents. This is achieved by assigning a unique and distinct volume to each home. Each volume / residence is broken down by the rest of the building, thus giving a sense of uniqueness. The above splits create a series of outdoor balconies, unmatched, for any home. The main staircase of the building, contrary to the usual practices, is shaped as a vertical through walk between the saplings of the plot, since it is surrounded by glass windows along its entire height, thus dividing the building into two sections. Finally, the pilotis of the building has a height of 6m, which turns it into a monumental entrance.

The building consists of seven independent houses that are divided into above two sections:

  1. In the northern part of the plot from the 2nd to the 4th floor are developed by an apartment on each floor and in the 5th a maisonette with a loft.
  2. In the southern part of the plot on the ground floor is placed a maisonette with a loft and exclusive use of the garden, on 4th floor is placed an apartment while on the 2nd and 5th floor are developed two maisonettes with a loft.

In the basement are placed the auxiliary uses such as warehouses and parking spaces of the properties.
